Hello there, unfortunately I can’t control the universe. Well, actually… it is fortunate for everyone!
We got word today that Cody has another infection which is causing a 103 fever. He will not be coming to Palo Alto as soon as we thought. He will be having one more skin graph surgery on his face when his fever is gone, hopefully on Monday. Please be in prayer for Cody as we see how quickly plans can change.

On June 12, 2011, Marine Lance Corporal Cody Elliott (21) was severely injured when he stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Afghanistan during his second tour of duty there. A portion of Cody’s left leg was amputated, he lost a finger, suffered facial injuries and broken bones. Cody is currently undergoing treatment at the National Naval Hospital in Maryland. Cody has been awarded the Purple Heart.
Cody Elliott attended Arroyo Grande High School and the Grizzly Academy. His mother Kerri and step father Brian live in Oceano with Cody’s sister Gracious (4) and cousins Andrew (6) and Christian (6 months).
